Bruce Lee is a platform beat 'em up where the legendary martial artist explores a wizard's tower, seeking infinite wealth and the secret of immortality. The game consists of twenty chambers, each a single screen with platforms, ladders, and climbing nets. To progress, Bruce must collect all lanterns suspended around each chamber, which opens an exit to the next area. Two enemies guard most chambers: the black Ninja who attacks with a bokken stick, and the Green Yamo, a large sumo warrior who punches and kicks. Bruce can punch, kick, or perform flying kicks. Later chambers introduce moving walls, mines, and electric sparks. After the twentieth chamber, Bruce faces the evil Fire Wizard.
Amstrad CPC
Released in 1986 by U.S. Gold Ltd., this is a conversion of the original Datasoft title for the Amstrad CPC . The CPC version retains all twenty chambers with platforms, vines for climbing, and particle waves that change direction randomly . Bruce can run, jump, climb vines, and perform martial arts moves including punches, kicks, and flying kicks. The Ninja requires two hits to defeat, while the Green Yamo requires three hits . Later chambers introduce hazards: electric charges moving between platforms, searchlights traversing floors, and exploding "tsung-ijn" bushes that emerge from nowhere . The final battle against the Fire Wizard requires dodging fireballs from his eyes. The game supports one player only, with the second player unable to control Yamo as in the C64 original. U.S. Gold handled European distribution, and the game was published on cassette .
