Nintendo 64

ECW Hardcore Revolution is a professional wrestling video game developed by Acclaim Studios Salt Lake City and published by Acclaim Entertainment. Based on the Extreme Championship Wrestling (ECW) promotion, it was the first wrestling game to feature ECW and the first wrestling game to receive a Mature rating. The roster includes over 40 ECW stars such as Rob Van Dam, Sabu, Tommy Dreamer, and Raven. Match types include 3-Way Dance, Barbed Wire Match, Cage Match, Lumberjack, and Street Fight. Weapons include chairs, ladders, a staple gun, and a television camera. Career Mode takes you through 80 matches to reach the ECW World Heavyweight Championship.

Released in North America on January 31, 2000, and in Europe on March 3, 2000. This version supports up to four players and saves via Controller Pak. Critical reception was overwhelmingly negative. Reviewers universally slammed the game for being a near copy of WWF Attitude and WWF War Zone, merely replacing WWF assets with ECW wrestlers and themes without capturing ECW's unique, rebellious spirit. The controls were described as stiff and unresponsive, with moves lacking impact and grappling feeling imprecise. Visually, the game was considered acceptable for the N64, but the overall package felt lazy and rushed. Positive elements included Joey Styles's authentic commentary, the large weapon selection, and blood effects that appear on multiple body parts. A deeply flawed wrestling game—recommended only for hardcore ECW fans or collectors of wrestling games.
