Scooby-Doo and Scrappy-Doo is a licensed platform game developed by British studio PAL Developments and published by Hi-Tec Software in 1991. When Scooby and Shaggy are kidnapped by the evil Baron Von Drak and taken to his Isle of Sorrows, it falls to Scrappy-Doo to save them. Players control Scrappy through scrolling levels filled with monsters — from bouncing octopi and mermen to pirates and cavemen — punching enemies or jumping on their heads. Collecting 15 Scooby Snacks earns an extra life, and hidden bonus rooms and power-ups reward exploration. Scrappy's punch can be charged into a megapunch for tougher foes.

Developed by Dave Thompson and Richard Morton of PAL Developments and released at £2.99, the Spectrum version covers four levels — a ghost town, a graveyard, a mansion and a dungeon — with horizontally scrolling platforms and characterful monochrome sprites that reviewers praised for capturing the cartoon's atmosphere well. The press reception was notably strong: Crash awarded it a Crash Smash, contributing to an average magazine score of around 84% across six reviews. Your Sinclair called it Hi-Tec's best cartoon tie-in to date, while Sinclair User highlighted the solid, accessible gameplay. A well-crafted budget release that genuinely over-delivered for its price point.
