Mighty Final Fight is a beat-'em-up spin-off developed and published by Capcom for the NES in 1993, based on the arcade classic Final Fight. The game retells the original story with a comedic twist: Mayor Haggar's daughter Jessica is kidnapped by the Mad Gear Gang, and players fight through five stages to rescue her. Unlike the arcade original, characters are depicted in the Japanese "super deformed" (chibi) art style, giving them a comical appearance. Players can choose from all three protagonists: Cody (balanced), Guy (fast but weak), and Haggar (slow but powerful). Unique to this entry, the game features an experience point system where defeating enemies grants levels that permanently increase health, attack power, speed, and unlock special moves.

Mighty Final Fight uses the MMC3 mapper with 8 pages of 16 KiB PRG-ROM and 16 pages of 8 KiB CHR-ROM. The game was released in Japan on June 11, 1993, North America in July 1993, and PAL regions in August 1993. The soundtrack was composed by Setsuo Yamamoto and Yuko Takehara. Contemporary reception was mixed. Critics praised the colorful graphics, charming chibi art style, responsive controls, and the innovative level-up system that adds depth to the brawler formula. However, the lack of two-player cooperative mode was heavily criticized, as was the brutal difficulty bordering on unfair. Reviewers also noted significant sprite flickering due to NES hardware limitations. Despite being a late NES release, Mighty Final Fight is remembered as a polished, challenging, and endearing entry in the Final Fight series.
