WWF Super WrestleMania is a professional wrestling game developed by Sculptured Software and published by Flying Edge for the Sega Mega Drive in 1992, based on the World Wrestling Federation. The gameplay adopts a "tug-of-war" grappling system where moves are performed by locking up and out-mashing the opponent to execute holds. All wrestlers share the same set of basic moves including scoop slams, suplexes, dropkicks, clotheslines, and elbow drops. Match types include standard one-on-one bouts, tag team matches, and four-on-four Survivor Series elimination contests. A WWF Championship mode allows players to select one wrestler and defeat all others to be crowned champion.

The Mega Drive version features eight playable wrestlers: Hulk Hogan, The Ultimate Warrior, Randy Savage, Ted DiBiase, Shawn Michaels, The British Bulldog, Papa Shango, and Irwin R. Schyster. Unlike the Super Nintendo version, each wrestler has a unique signature move that can be performed at any time by pressing A and C on the controller. The wrestler sprites are slightly smaller than their SNES counterparts, but the game runs at a smooth framerate. The soundtrack features MIDI themes for each wrestler with digitized grunts during matches. Contemporary critical reception was mixed to positive. Reviewers praised the fast-paced multiplayer action and the addition of signature moves, which gave each character personality. However, critics noted that the single-player experience became repetitive after several matches, the wrestlers felt largely interchangeable despite their unique moves, and the basic move set lacked depth compared to other wrestling games of the era.
