Klax is an arcade puzzle game designed by Dave Akers and Mark Stephen Pierce, released by Atari Games in 1990. The playing field is a five-column, five-row grid viewed in 3D perspective. Colored tiles roll down a conveyor belt towards a paddle at the bottom, which you move to catch them. You can drop tiles into columns or use the "throw" mechanic to launch a tile back up. The goal is to create "Klaxes": lines of three or more matching tiles horizontally, vertically, or diagonally. Each wave has a different objective. The game includes 100 levels in total.

The sound design is functional but sparse, with basic sound effects and no notable music during gameplay . Critical reception was positive: Mean Machines gave 88%, Joypad 90%, Joystick 83%, and Sega Force awarded 81% . Console XS rated it 73% and Sega Power 70%. Reviewers praised the addictive gameplay and easy-to-master controls, though some noted the graphics are not spectacular . Supports only single-player mode. A solid and faithful conversion of the arcade puzzle classic for the Master System.
