Brutal - Paws of Fury

Brutal: Paws of Fury is a one-on-one fighting game where cartoon animal martial artists compete in the Brutal Island Tournament, organized by the legendary Dali Llama. Choose from your roster of unique animal fighters, each with distinct martial arts styles and special moves including taunts, headbutts, smoke attacks, and powerful finishing techniques. Travel across diverse outdoor arenas on the island, battling opponents in multi-round duels before facing the Dali Llama himself in the ultimate challenge. Punch, kick, throw, and spring your way to victory with frame-by-frame instant replays and play head-to-head with up to eight people in multiplayer modes.

DOS

Released in 1995 by GameTek as a computer port of the popular fighting game series. The DOS version removes the special moves progression system found in console versions, where players would unlock new techniques after each victory. However, the PC release offers excellent large and well-animated character sprites with visually appealing cartoon designs that set it apart from the grittier Mortal Kombat and Rise of the Robots.
