Champions of Krynn is the first volume in a Dragonlance trilogy of Gold Box role-playing games published by SSI. Set after the War of the Lance, you control a party of up to six adventurers hired by the Knights of Solamnia to investigate draconian activity in northeastern Ansalon. The game uses the Gold Box engine: first-person view for exploration and a turn-based, isometric perspective for tactical combat. You can choose from unique Dragonlance races including Kender, Silvanesti Elves, and Mountain Dwarves, plus special classes like Solamnic Knights and mages of the Red or White Robes. Clerics serve Krynn's deities, and moon phases affect magic.
