Satan is an action-platformer developed by Spanish studio Dinamic Software in 1990. The game is divided into two distinct parts linked by a password system. First, you play as a warrior exploring a multi-directional scrolling cave to recover three magic scrolls from massive skeletal guardians. You can jump, climb, shoot horizontal magic bolts, and collect power-ups including lightning bolts that destroy all on-screen enemies. Second, you transform into a wizard defeating seven forms of Satan. Vanquished foes release coins for a shop where you can buy potions, shields, and teleports. Each section has a strict time limit.
DOS
Released in 1990 by Dinamic Software, ported by Anjana Soft . This version supports CGA or EGA graphics, though the palette is significantly less vibrant than the Amiga original—based on the Amstrad CPC conversion with large status panel and somewhat blurred sprites . Audio is rudimentary beeper-style sound with no music. The gameplay structure remains intact: both parts, the password system, all power-ups, and the shop in the wizard section. Controls require keyboard configuration at each startup. A visually compromised but playable conversion for DOS owners.
