Knight Force is an action-platformer with beat 'em up elements. The evil wizard Red Sabbath kidnaps Princess Tanya to lure the champion, Fair Storm (Knight of Thunder), and steal the keys to time travel. Red Sabbath has divided into clones across different eras. You travel through five time zones: Prehistory, Ancient France, New York Today, the Future, and the Mystical realm. You must collect seven magic amulets, destroy the wizard's clones, and defeat the supreme sorcerer. The combat system includes eight sword moves for standing and crouching positions.

DOS

Released in 1989 in Germany by Titus Interactive, with the DOS version arriving alongside Amstrad CPC and Atari ST ports . The PC version stands up well in comparison with computers that outperform it, such as the Atari ST . The game features five levels representing different time periods: Versailles 1789 with its murderous streets and sewers, New York docklands with an octopus gang leader, prehistory, a futuristic zone, and medieval times . Players can explore each level in any order by selecting dolmens from the title screen, though some versions reportedly contain a bug that locks you into one zone regardless of selection . The sword combat requires multiple hits to defeat enemies, and the controls have been described as frustrating with less than 100% accuracy in character movement . The storyline is more developed than most platformers of the era, though the core gameplay remains repetitive . The game runs under DOSBox emulation on modern systems , and while not widely recognized in its time due to limited advertising , it has since gained appreciation as a solid, playable platformer with charming level variety and atmospheric visuals.
