Bakutotsu Kijutei, also known as Baraduke II, is a scrolling shooter arcade game released by Namco in 1988 exclusively in Japan, serving as a direct sequel to the 1985 title Baraduke. Players control two space pilots in bio-suits, Takky and Hommy, fighting the alien Octy family and rescuing the one-eyed creatures known as Paccets. The action takes place across thirty-six stages divided into six blocks. The gameplay is a side-scrolling shooter where players advance through stages, eliminating enemies and collecting Paccets. Unlike the original, characters are always facing right and cannot move backwards. Players can collect four capsule types: yellow for Paccets, green for speed, blue for shot power-ups, and red for Baganns (hostile Pac-Man-like creatures). Collected Paccets circle the player and contribute to the end-stage score. Accidentally shooting a Paccet destroys it, leaving an eyeball worth one point. Losing a life restarts the level with a scolding from "Paccet Ojisan."

Bakutotsu Kijutei runs on Namco System 1 hardware and was released in August 1988. The game uses two Motorola M6809 CPUs, a Hitachi HD63701 MCU, and a Yamaha YM2151 sound chip. Music was composed by Norio Nakagata and Takane Ohkubo. It is displayed on a horizontal monitor at 288 x 224 pixels. The game was moderately successful, ranking seventeenth in Japan in September 1988. Controls use an 8-way joystick and a single fire button. Retrospective reviews are mixed: the detailed, cartoonish visuals are praised, while its high difficulty and lack of shields are criticized. It remains an unusual and challenging entry in Namco's arcade catalog.
