Crazy Cars is a third-person racing game set across the roads of several American states, including New York, Arizona, Florida, and even a Space Shuttle landing site. Players begin with a Porsche 911 and can upgrade to faster vehicles such as a Mercedes, Lamborghini Countach, and Ferrari GTO as they progress. Gameplay is arcade-oriented, similar to Out Run, requiring players to complete each race within a time limit while avoiding contact with other cars and roadside barriers. Collisions cause the car to swerve and lose speed. The game features six initial tracks, with four different cars to unlock, and a strong emphasis on speed over complex simulation mechanics.

Published in late 1987 by Titus France, programmed by Gil Espeche . The CPC version features an unusual vertical perspective rather than true 3D, with large, colorful sprites . A unique and perplexing feature allows the car to jump, which users found amusing but pointless . The four cars all share identical handling and engine sounds, differing only in speed . Roads feel largely empty with only occasional traffic, leading to a repetitive, linear experience . Amstrad Action magazine awarded 59%, praising the technical ambition of vertical scrolling but criticizing repetitive gameplay and lack of excitement between cars or stages . A functional but ultimately monotonous early racer for the CPC.
