Watchtower is a top-down arcade action shooter in the style of Commando and Ikari Warriors. You play as a professional hitman taking missions across six levels in three terrains: jungle, desert, and city. Navigate environments tactically, collecting seven weapon types including Kalashnikov, minigun, and flamethrower. Avoid land mines and enemy vehicles. Play solo or split-screen multiplayer with simultaneous two-player mode for hotseat gameplay.

Released March 1996 by OTM Publications and developed by CyberArts Ltd., Watchtower attempted to bring Commando-style arcade action to AGA systems. Though borrowing heavily from classic arcade templates, reviewers felt OTM had not evolved the gameplay substantially. Amiga Computing gave 62%, Amiga Format 51%, with reviews ranging 41-78% across magazines. Graphics showed AGA promise, but relentless repetitive level design and slow pacing made it tedious. What worked in brief arcade bursts became exhausting over six full levels. A game overshadowed by superior alternatives on the platform.
