Sensible Golf is an arcade-style 2D golf game featuring the same pin-like characters as Sensible Soccer and Cannon Fodder. Play through 24 courses using various clubs and techniques to navigate hazards including trees, water, and sand bunkers. The game strips away golf simulation complexity for quick, action-oriented gameplay supporting one to four players. Choose from Tournament, Season, and Practice modes to compete across different difficulty levels.

Amiga

Released in 1995 by Virgin Interactive and developed by Sensible Software, Sensible Golf marked a significant departure for the acclaimed developer. The game required an Amiga 1200 and emphasized arcade fun over realistic simulation. Despite featuring colorful graphics and the trademark Sensible charm, the game received mixed reviews with Amiga Power awarding 66%, their lowest ever Sensible Software score. The difficult putting system and course design frustrated players seeking golf authenticity. While not meeting expectations, it remains a curiosity as one of Sensible's weaker entries and their second-to-last Amiga release.
