International 3D Tennis

Amiga

International 3D Tennis is a tennis simulation developed by Sensible Software and published by Palace Software in 1990 . The game features polygon-based 3D vector graphics and ten selectable camera angles . You choose from 72 tournaments based on real events, across four court surfaces: grass, clay, carpet, and cement . Four difficulty levels are available (amateur, semi-pro, pro, ace), where controls become more complex and AI improves at higher settings . Game modes include single match, tournament, and full season play . A practice mode allows learning topspin and backspin shots. The game supports one or two players simultaneously . Music is composed by Richard Joseph . An any-time save option is included .

Amiga

Released in 1990 by Palace Software, coded by David Korn . The Amiga version runs on OCS/ECS hardware from a single disk, supporting one or two players . Critical reception was mixed: Amiga Format noted the graphics let it down compared to Pro Tennis Tour , while The Games Machine called it "one of the best computer sports games ever" . Critics praised the innovative 3D perspective and shot variety but criticized the slow motion speed, with Your Sinclair describing "sluggish speed" . The side-on default camera view can be disorienting as controls remain absolute rather than relative . A technically ambitious but divisive tennis simulation.
